First APNIC Regional Meeting at MYNOG 3

The first APNIC Regional Meeting (ARM) is being held today at MYNOG 3 in Kuala Lumpur. We hope to see our Southeast Asia Members and stakeholders at this one-day event. Attendance is free of charge.

The program includes an introduction to the APNIC Policy Development Process and how the APNIC community fits into the Internet ecosystem. There will be two short tutorial sessions on IPv6 and DNSSEC, and an update on APNIC services. We appreciate your feedback on this inaugural event!

APRICOT 2014 APNIC 37

APRICOT 2014 registration now open

Register and pay in full by 31 December 2013 for an Early Bird Discount! APRICOT 2014 is the largest summit on Internet development and related technologies in the Asia Pacific. If you would like to contribute a presentation or tutorial to the APRICOT 2014 program, submit your proposal to the Program Committee!

The APNIC 37 Open Policy Meeting will be held during APRICOT 2014. Please submit all policy proposals by 17 January 2014. Check the website regularly for updates.

Travel information and booking forms are now available, with special rates negotiated for APRICOT delegates. Please contact your local Malaysian consulate for details about visas to Malaysia.

APNIC and ITU support Internet infrastructure development

Beginning in 2014, APNIC and the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) will collaborate on a two-year capacity building project to support IPv6 deployment in the Asia Pacific.

Workshops will be held at different locations around the region to help networking engineers in developing economies enhance their skill set to facilitate a smooth transition to IPv6 on a local, national, and regional level.
