Stop the Net Grab

The NRO made a statement expressing support for the "Stop the Net Grab" campaign, which was spearheaded by the International Trade Union Confederation (ITUC).

The campaign highlights the lack of transparency leading up to the WCIT-12 meeting in Dubai, which begins 3 December 2012.

Seed Alliance

Seed Alliance receives AUD 1.5m Sida grant

The Seed Alliance received a grant from the Swedish International Development Cooperative Agency (Sida) for AUD 1.5 million.

The Seed Alliance is a partnership among small grants programs in three RIR regions: ISIF Asia (APNIC), FIRE (AFRINIC), and FRIDA (Lacnic).

Internet Governance Forum

Seventh Annual IGF a success

APNIC Director General Paul Wilson gave closing remarks to participants at the Internet Governance Forum (IGF) in Baku, Azerbaijan, on behalf of the Internet technical community.

In his speech, Mr Wilson said that the IGF is here to stay and should be supported by all stakeholders.

APNIC is proud to co-organize APRICOT 2013 with the Asia & Pacific Internet Association (APIA). The Program Committee is now seeking proposals for the APNIC 35 and APRICOT 2013 Conference sessions.

Review the criteria for technical presentations, and submit your paper if you have information to share with the community.

This year's Survey is particularly important as we are currently in the process of planning the redesign of the APNIC website.
