Upgrade to Global Trust Anchor RPKI

On 25 October, APNIC issued up to five new "trust anchor" certificates to take the APNIC RPKI framework to the next stage of its evolution towards supporting a global trust anchor.

APNIC Supports the First Australian IGF

The first Australian Internet Governance Forum (auIGF) was held in Canberra, Australia, on 11 - 12 October 2012.

APNIC supported the conference with Paul Wilson, Geoff Huston, and Craig Ng participating in panel discussions and supporting the workshop "The UN and Internet-related policy activities - WCIT and WTPF".

New Member Forms Now Available

In response to feedback from our Members and Stakeholders, APNIC has created a New Member Form to streamline membership and resource applications.

This new format will allow the wider community to now gain access to Internet resources faster and easier.

First Inter-RIR IPv4 Transfer Processed

A /24 block of IPv4 addresses has been transferred from the ARIN region to an APNIC Member under the inter-RIR transfer process.

This is the first inter-RIR IPv4 transfer case after the policy prop-095: Inter-RIR IPv4 address transfer proposal was implemented.
