IPv4 transfers update

There are new facilities available to Members wishing to process IPv4 transfers. Please note IPv4 transfers are subject to a fee.

There is a list of registered IP brokers who can help facilitate your transfer, and a list of pre-approved recipients.

The community now has a forum to discuss IPv4 transfers! Everyone is welcome to join the new APNIC Transfers mailing list.

Member Survey Report

Following a presentation of the APNIC Survey 2012 findings at APNIC 34, the full Survey Report from the Singapore Internet Research Centre (SIRC) is now available.

More than 1,300 APNIC Members and stakeholders responded - read the full report to see what they said about APNIC services and activities.

The APNIC Survey helps drive APNIC's organizational planning and future direction, so we can better serve our Members and stakeholders.

APNIC 34 Workshops a success!

APT Cybersecurity Forum

APNIC Member Services Manager George Kuo is in Macao, China SAR for the 3rd Asia Pacific Telecommunity Cybersecurity Forum. George will present "RIRs and Internet Address Security". The slides will be available soon!

The APT Cybersecurity Forum gives Internet stakeholders in the Asia Pacific an opportunity to gather and discuss combating spam activities. Participants also share practical experiences and other expertise including public awareness campaign strategies.

RIPE NCC reaches the last /8

The RIPE NCC, RIR for Europe, the Middle East, and parts of Asia, reached its last /8 of IPv4 addresses and is now delegating small blocks of IPv4 to its members. Read more about this policy implementation in the RIPE region.

The RIPE NCC is the second RIR to implement a "last /8" policy, after APNIC reached its final /8 in April 2011.
