New Indian NIR

An agreement was reached during APNIC 33 on the establishment of a National Internet Registry in India, which will be run by the National Internet Exchange of India, NIXI.

The new NIR is called the Indian Registry for Internet Names and Numbers (IRINN).

APNIC Director General Paul Wilson said, "We welcome the new National Internet Registry in India to the APNIC community."
