DNSSEC Updates

On 3 May 2011, APNIC submitted the regional DNSSEC DS records to IANA.

This was an important step in the preparation for the DNSSEC Phase 3 Roadmap, which will be implemented later this year.

APNIC Labs::IPv6 Capability Tracker

If you are interested in gauging the IPv6 capabilities of your website visitors, use the APNIC Labs Google Analytics Tracking Code.

This new tool offers content providers a preview into the IPv4, IPv6, and Dual-Stack capabilities of their current traffic.

This is an APNIC Labs collaborative activity with RIPE Labs.

APNIC 31 Policies

Three policies were implemented on 9 May 2011 (See APNIC News):

• Removing renumbering requirement from final /8 policy
• Reducing the minimum delegation size for the final /8 policy
• Distribution of IPv4 addresses once the final /8 period starts
